AUDITONS
Our classes are for anyone who identifies as a professional actor and is committed to their artistic (and often personal) growth. We do not require anyone to audition, but we ask that you be respectful of your fellow artists and arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work.
COVID/ILLNESS POLICY
For all in-person classes and coachings, we ask that you consider your fellow artists when assessing potential illness, including COVID-related risks. Our community includes people who are immunocompromised or have underlying conditions, so please be mindful. For this reason, all participants must be vaccinated against COVID. If you are experiencing minor symptoms, please wear a mask. If you are experiencing severe symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID or the Flu, please stay home until you are no longer experiencing those symptoms and have received a negative COVID and flu test. In the case of illness, you may Zoom into class. Otherwise, please refer to our make-up class policy below. Online classes and coachings are not subject to our illness policy.
MAKE-UP CLASS POLICY
Make-up classes will be offered only in cases of illness or severe weather. Make-up classes are virtual by default and must be completed before the following class session. Due to the nature of the course, it is important to maintain the sequence of lessons, as each lesson builds on top of the previous lessons. If a participant is unable to make up a lesson before the following session, the participant may continue but understands that they may have missed crucial instruction that may affect their experience going forward. Participants have the option to drop out of the course and apply their tuition payment to a future class or workshop. In cases where the instructors must cancel class, a makeup session will be offered to all participants, either virtually or in-person, but may be scheduled outside of the course dates.
CANCELLATION/WITHDRAWAL POLICY
We understand that, as artists, our schedules change quickly. If your obligations change after registering for one of our classes or coachings, you may request to apply your tuition payment to a future BLTC class or coaching. Requests for tuition transfer must be made one week before the start of a class or with at least 24-hour advanced notice for private coachings. In order to withdraw from a class or private coaching, you must email info@brazenlighttheater.org as soon as possible. The date and time of your email will be considered your official request date and time when considering transfer eligibility. Out of respect for the instructor’s time, failure to make a timely request will result in the forfeiture of your tuition payment.
PAYMENT
All payments are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future BLTC class or private coaching unless canceled by the instructor in its entirety. (See Cancellation Policy above.) If the instructor must cancel a class or private coaching in whole, participants will receive a full refund within one week of the cancellation. The date and time of the instructor's email will serve as the official cancellation date and time regarding refunds. We accept card payments through our online registration system. We also accept cash, checks, or wire transfers. Each class will offer a payment plan. Please refer to the payment plan instructions in the class description regarding payment methods.
